Sounds of silence, intertwined with dark,
All alone, death has laid it's mark.
The rain falls as blood, I can not see.
Focus. Focus! No! You're fading from me!
I won't give up; I will see you again.
I'm lost without you in this world of men.
The heart beats love, nevermore. Nevermore.
You've walked your final steps through that decaying door.
A place never forgotten before being seen.
A place that's solemn, frightening, mean!
I hate that place; hate it like Hell!
It took you from me, though you were well.
But at least you are there, not far from me.
With this swift sword, no one must see!
Blood will fall. Tears as well.
Lifeless I will lie with no one to tell.
Shadows are beckoning, my courage arising.
I'll do it for your voice; it was mesmerizing.
To this world I say my 'goodbyes'.
With you gone, it is my time to die.
I raise the cool weapon and get myself ready.
As it pierces my skin I become unsteady.
Through pain and agony I realize it's not so bad,
To not be with you, would be too sad.
My vision is hazy, my breath is shallow, slow.
My eyes are getting heavy; my heartbeat low.
Then I am surprised. You are the next thing I see.
All pain is gone and your arms are open for me.
I am home! A home where nothing's lack.
I can live again! But then it all goes black.
But I am with you,
And I love you.
